State Constable Bailey was shot and killed after making a traffic stop on Greenwood Street in Lincolnville, SC. Constable Bailey contacted dispatch after clearing the traffic stop and the line went dead. When back-up arrived, they found that Constable Bailey was missing. His constable’s hat, two pistols, several shell casings were found in a pool of blood. Five days later, Constable Bailey’s body was located in a shallow grave about fifty miles away from the original crime scene.
